Social Host Accountability Ordinance Passes in Odessa
July 25, 2017 the Here 2 Impact (H2i) Ector County Coalition brought to and helped pass the Social Host Accountability Ordinance in the City of Odessa. We had the help and support from the H2i Coalition and From Texans Standing Tall. The City of Odessa is the fourth city in the state of Texas to pass an ordinance of this kind. The Social Host Accountability Ordinance will hold adults accountable for providing a place or venue that allows underage drinking to occur. This ordinance is a criminal offense with a fine of no less than $250 and not to exceed $2000 with no jail time. We are very excited for this new ordinance to be in effect and want to educate the city on the Social Host
